Who are we?

Founded in 2007, OLVEA Burkina Faso is the Shea butter production unit of OLVEA Vegetable Oils ; OLVEA Burkina Faso's production is exclusively distributed by OLVEA Vegetable Oils. Located in Bobo Dioulasso, at the heart of the Shea country, OLVEA Burkina Faso is a fully-equipped facility for grinding kernels to extract the butter.

OLVEA Burkina Faso has a payroll of more than 45 employees who receive inservice training in hygiene rules, best practices in production, safety and fire prevention.

To ensure the sanitary safety of its production, OLVEA Burkina Faso has implemented a Quality management system and has an on-site laboratory that performs daily checks.
OLVEA Burkina Faso's Quality Management System involves the whole workforce which is informed about quality issues through various quality system documents (procedures,  instructions, print-outs) guaranteeing effective and high performance work practices.
