A unique carreer discovery program for 19 high school students
From June 16 to 27, 2025, 19 tenth-grade students from several high schools in Fécamp have taken part in a one-of-a-kind collective internship, giving them a rare opportunity to explore a wide range of careers and industries.
Over the two weeks, students have dived into a new professional environment nearly every day, thanks to the support of more than a dozen participating companies and professionals. Each day offered a hands-on look at a different profession — including real-world observations, direct interaction with employees, and meaningful conversations about career paths.
Fields and industries explored include:
- Industry: cosmetics, printing, and renewable energy
- Retail, logistics, and commerce
- Health: pharmacy and medical profession
- Services: banking, insurance, accounting, real estate
- Public service: firefighting and emergency response
- Tourism and entertainment: casino
- Environmental management and engineering firm
This innovative program is the result of a strong partnership between local businesses, high schools, and OLVEA, who coordinated the initiative. By working together, they’ve created an engaging, eye-opening experience that helps students build awareness, confidence, and inspiration for their future careers.
