For its very first action, which took place during the holy month of Ramadan, MauritaVie’s volunteers have donated solidarity baskets to many unpriviledged families in Nouadhibou (Mauritania).

In 2019, for its fair trade Sesame seed oil supply chain (certified by Ecocert according to the Fair for Life standard), OLVEA worked with more than 3,850 sesame seed producers.
OLVEA publishes OLVEAct Now, its first corporate social responsibility performance report. The OLVEAct Now report lists all of the Group’s CSR actions, initiatives and commitments, linked to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of the United Nations, of which OLVEA has been a Global Compact signatory since 2015.
Thanks to the Development Funds of our fair trade supply chains (FFL-certified), many community projects can emerge in the regions where we are located.
OLVEA’s Philanthropic Fund financed a new literacy campaign in Burkina Faso, in the Dissihn region, from March to July 2020. Since 2013, thanks to OLVEA’s Philanthropic Fund, more than 800 people have been able to benefit from these campaigns and thus, to learn to read, write and count.
OLVEA’s Philanthropic Fund offered a “Hissons les voiles” (“Hoist the sails”) day, on board of the old rigging “MilPat”, on Tuesday 29th September, to a dozen people from the AHAPS.
