OLVEA is proud to be part of the Solidarity Sourcing program of L’Oréal! We are indeed working with thousands of women producers in Burkina Faso in order to produce our conventional, organic and fair-trade Shea butters from sources you can trust.

Every year, in order to produce its butter, OLVEA Burkina Faso buys Shea kernels directly from farmers’ organizations and women producers.
OLVEA has been working for more than 10 years for the development of sustainable value chains, and is an historic partner of L’Oreal’s Solidarity Sourcing program with its Shea butter supply chains produced in Burkina Faso.

From 2013 to 2018, OLVEA’s Philanthropic Fund has financed 4 literacy campaigns in Burkina Faso, enabling 563 people to learn how to read, write and count.
OLVEA has been working to empower women in rural areas of Burkina Faso and Morocco for years, through its supply chains, its Philanthropic Fund and its Moroccan charitable organization Marocavie.
